Betty J. Hill

Betty J Hill, 85, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2024 in Acworth, GA. She was born to the late Ben and Gladys Lewis on December 3, 1938 in South Georgia. She made her career as a hairdresser and spent her weekends at the lake fishing. She was a loving sister, mother, grandmother, and aunt, who will be missed dearly. Betty is survived by her daughter, Lisa Bell (Terry) of Dallas, GA, her son Lewis Barr Jr. of McDonough, GA, her sisters Madolyn Moxley and Margie Williams, her brother John Lewis, her grandson Austin Bell (Amanda) of Dallas, GA, granddaughter Chelsey Eason (Matt) of Bethlehem, GA and nieces and nephews. Her family would also like to thank ProMedica Hospice nurses (Amanda and Carla) and staff for their loving care and support and thank Betty’s caregivers DaTavia, Nicole, Aburd, and Kaloni for their dedication and nurturing spirit.

Betty’s life will be celebrated at a later date with close family members at her favorite place, Lake Sinclair.
