Carl was raised in rural Georgia until moving to Madison for his high school years. He was known there for his athletic achievements which were many. According to his brother, if it involved a ball, he was in. Carl held great memories of those days. He held various positions around the Madison/Covington areas, during which time he obtained his degree in Business Administration through UGA. His last position was as a Financial Advisor for Bailey Financial Services for approximately 25 years, until he retired.
Carl's passion was writing inspirational messages and had quite a following for his Friday emails. He had a heart for helping people with the everyday challenges of life. It was his desire to point the way to the answers for everything that can be found within. Carl dedicated himself to drawing closer to God every single day. He loved the Georgia Bulldogs, golf and was particularly fond of the beach and visiting his favorite place, Charleston SC. His videos can be found on you tube under “What to do in Charleston”
