James Aubrey Gordon Iii

James A. “Jimmy” Gordon, III departed this life to rest in the arms of his Lord and Savior on Monday, June 10, 2024 at the age of 64.

Jimmy was born in Macon, Ga on March 14, 1960 to the late Lillian King Gordon and the late James A.Gordon, Jr. He was a 1979 graduate of Southwest High School. He spent his career years as a welder and metal fabricator, retiring in 2021 after 30 years at Withers Tool & Die. Jimmy was an active member of West Ridge Church. He was an avid outdoorsman, sharing his enthusiasm for camping, boating, hunting and fishing with his sons, family and friends.

Jimmy was a loving and devoted husband to Valerie Klein Gordon for 38 years, making their home in Douglasville, Ga. He was the proud father of Ethan (Madison) and Aaron (Shannon), “Papa” to grand babies Jennings and Mary Joyce, and loyal brother to Beverly Veale (Scott).

A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, June 19, 2024.
