Jon Allen Branson

October 20, 1951 — November 30, 2023

Jon Allen Branson, 72, of Canton, Georgia, peacefully passed away on November 30th, 2023.

Born on October 20th, 1951, in Washington, Missouri, Jon was the son of Bernadine and Irvin Branson. He was also raised and loved by his stepmother, Helen. He is predeceased by his parents and brother William.

Jon was a standout athlete, earning his Letterman status in baseball and basketball during high school. His journey took him to Palm Beach County, Florida, where he dedicated five decades to the community he cherished. Starting in construction, Jon worked on several projects throughout Palm Beach County, including building the Boca Raton resort, a cornerstone of South Florida, which sparked a 40-year career in property management, where his expertise and dedication left an indelible mark.

Beyond his professional achievements, Jon's passions were as diverse as they were enriching. He was an avid golfer and craftsman creating beautiful stained glass, and he enjoyed cultivating bonsai plants with his wife, June. Jon applied his professional skills to drive positive changes within homeowner associations, leaving a lasting legacy in his home communities in Florida and Georgia.

Jon's proudest accomplishments were his two sons, Robert and Joseph. He adored his wife, June, his constant companion and best friend, with whom he traveled extensively across the country, exploring national parks and historical landmarks.

Jon is survived by his beloved wife, June; his sons, Robert and Joseph; their wives, Wendy and Christine; his six cherished grandchildren; and his brothers, Craig, Rick, and David.

We will remember Jon for his unwavering dedication, kind heart, and the joy he found in life's simple pleasures. His legacy of love and commitment will continue to inspire those whose lives he touched.
