Pamela Ann Kerlin

Pamela Ann Kerlin, 65, of Atlanta, Georgia, peacefully passed away on August 18, 2022 at Wellstar Tranquility Center in Austell, GA. There will be an internment service officiated over by the pastor of Legacy Baptist Church, Ryan Vargas, saying a few words to lay her ashes to rest in the family cemetery plot at Mountain View Park Cemetery, located at; 410 Whitlock Av, Marietta, GA 30064, on Thursday, August 25, 2022, at 12:00PM. Following the burial, we will reconvene at Legacy Baptist Church, located at; 2976 Dallas Acworth Hwy, Dallas, GA 30132, at 2:00PM on the same day for a Memorial Service to honor Pamela’s life and the many contributions she made to all of our lives. Pamela Kerlin was born in Atlanta, Georgia to Richard and Mary Jo Kadel on January 15, 1957. She graduated from Headland High School in 1974. Pamela is preceded in death by her Parents, Richard and Mary Jo Kadel and her beloved best friend Carla Eaton. Pamela is survived by her loving Husband, Michael Kerlin, of Dallas, Georgia, after 47 years of marriage. Daughter, Mary Tosha Willis of Dallas. Grandchildren, Dalton & Shay Willis of Douglasville, Megan Willis of Kennesaw, and Kaylin Willis of Dallas. Her siblings, Richard Kadel of Hampton, Lynn Patterson of Ellenwood, and Kim Rainey of Jonesboro. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family members, loved ones and friends. She was involved in volunteer work at local schools and libraries. She enjoyed reading, painting, drawing, sewing and she loved crocheting blankets and afghans for others. She was full of life and laughter. She could light up any room and always knew the right words to say to brighten anyone’s day. She was a wonderful Wife, Mother, Nanny, Daughter, Aunt, and friend to so many. She would give you the shirt off her back and then some, and never once met a stranger. She had a heart of gold and touched so many lives. She will forever be missed. Legacy Baptist Church will be sponsoring a meal after the Memorial service for anyone who wishes to partake. Anyone wishing to attend will be welcome. Any flowers you may wish to send can be sent to Legacy Baptist Church on the morning of August 25th between the hours of 10:00AM and 1:00PM. The family of Pamela Kerlin wishes to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who sent their prayers and condolences during this time.
