Ronnie Andrew Mccoy

"In loving memory of Ronnie Andrew McCoy, 65, of Canton, GA passed away on 06-25- 2023. He was born 04-19-1958 in Canton, GA and was the son of the late Andrew Jackson McCoy and Francis May McCoy.

Ronnie was a graduate of the Class of 1976 from Cherokee High School. His early passion for martial arts led him to pursue ITF Taekwondo, where he displayed exceptional talent and commitment achieving the rank of Fourth Degree Black Belt. For over three decades, he devoted his life to teaching and empowering others through the art of martial arts. Starting as an instructor of Taekwondo and ultimately establishing his own studio known as “Americans in Motion.” Some of his favorite hobbies included playing guitar, writing, and bowling.

He will be greatly missed as a loving husband of 43 years, father of three, and grandfather known as “Papa Mac”.

Ronnie is survived by his wife, Debbie; daughter Cindy and her husband Gabe; daughter Anna and her husband Kris; daughter Elena; granddaughters, Vanessa, MaKaiyah, and Emberlee; and grandson, Lucas.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Ronnie McCoy will be held at Shiloh Baptist Church on July 15, 2023, between 1 PM and 3 PM. Shiloh Baptist Church is located at 875 Pinecrest Rd, Canton, GA 30115. Memorial contributions may be sent to Shiloh Baptist Church on July 15 between 11 AM-1 PM.

Rest in peace, Ronnie. You will be deeply missed, but forever etched in our hearts and minds. May we cherish the memories and honor the teachings from your time here with us."
