Agnes Elizabeth Christine Sinwelski

Agnes Elizabeth Christine Sinwelski, age 67, of Calhoun, GA passed away on January 6, 2023.

She was born on May 16, 1955 in Chicago Heights, IL and was the daughter of the late Edward and Vera Sinwelski.

She was also preceded in death by her son Jeffrey Bowman, her brother Paul Sinwelski, and her sister Margaret Sinwelski.

In her youth she worked variously for brief periods as a nanny, a waitress, a farmhand, and a lumberjack, but she spent most of her life working and helping people outside of the confines of traditional employment. She believed firmly that God is love, and she lived a Christian life spreading that love to others.

She is survived by her sons Karl and Derek Bowman, her daughters-in-law Jenell and Tiffany Bowman, her granddaughters Star and Melodi Bowman, her sister Mary Ellen Geniusz, and her brothers Michael, Jerome, Frank, Albert, and Leo Sinwelski.

In lieu of flowers, anyone moved to do so can give their time or money to any charitable ventures that share Agnes’s lifelong commitment to feeding the hungry and providing for children.
