Alan Steven Hawkins

Alan Steven Hawkins, 66, born in Summerville Georgia and graduated from Chattooga High School, died in Marietta, Georgia after a sustained illness on August 29th, 2020. Steve was a skilled carpenter and worked as a construction superintendent. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Herschel (Allie) Hawkins, Mr. & Mrs. Luther Davis (Delcie) Henderson and his father Mr. Joseph Thomas Hawkins. He is survived by his mother, Ms. Ruby Hawkins of Marietta , his two sons Mr. Daniel Hawkins ( grandson Troy) , Mr. Alan Hawkins (granddaughter Ariana) of Tucson Arizona, two brothers Mr. Tom Hawkins (Jean) Marietta, Ga. Mr. Jeff Hawkins (Diane) Acworth, Ga. and aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Steve had great intellect, musical talent, and a loving, giving heart. He easily read the great classic literature and could discuss the details years later. He celebrated his grandchildren by writing songs. There will be no formal service. He will be deeply missed.
