Albert Formerly of Freeport New York, 53, entered into eternal rest on August 8, 2020 in Elberton, GA. Albert was born on January 4, 1967 in East Meadow, New York to Henry and Kay Bacon. He was the youngest child of that union. Albert graduated from Freeport High School in New York. He furthered his education and graduated from Rhema Bible College in Broken Arrow, OK. Albert later met Angela {deceased} in Decatur, GA. They were married and went on to raise 4 children, Lomita, Nolana, {His first born} Francis and Angel. In addition to being a dedicated and loving father and grandfather to {Sky and Love, whom he often spoke about}, from a child he loved going fishing with his dad and playing sports especially wrestling. Albert also loved ministering and serving others. He loved traveling, photography and gospel music. Albert was a “Self Made Man”. He was proud of his business accomplishments over the years. Most of all he took pride in mentor young men about the workings of the world including his nephew’s Ali, Robert, Dujuan, Dahrnell, Preacher and Terrence. Albert was a soldier in his walk with Christ as well and often was used by God as a vessel. He was blessed growing up as a child under the leadership of Bishop Frank White at “Little Zion Church of God in Christ” {Zion Cathedral} and entering into adulthood early on became a member of Tabernacle Church of Christ” with Pastor Walter Gibson and the church family. Later he was blessed to be able to provide leadership at “Soldier Temple” church in Decatur, GA. Throughout Albert’s entire life, he held an unwavering faith in God, which he shared with those who surrounded him. Albert joins his mother and father, Kay Frances and Henry Bacon and his sister Thumbelina LeGre in Heaven. Albert is survived by 4 daughters, Lomita Boyd of Decatur, GA, Nolana Bacon of Decatur GA, Francis Bacon of Decatur GA, and Angel Buchanan of Hinesville GA. His grand children Sky Bacon {2yrs} and Love H. Bacon {6yrs}. His siblings; La June Ruffin of Glen Cove NY, Sandra Bacon of Warner Robbins GA, Henry Bacon Jr., of Warner Robins GA, Deborah Breland of Atlanta, GA, Cynthia Bacon-Whitted of Atlanta, GA, and Ollie Bacon of St. Mary’s Lake Florida. Albert was known and loved by a host of family and extended family. Over his life he served as a minister, husband, father and grandfather. A memorial service will be conducted on, Sunday August 30, 2020 in Atlanta, GA.
