Amanda Gail Hardy

January 5, 1979 — December 24, 2021

It is with heavy hearts that we have to announce the sudden passing of Mandy (Amanda Gail)Hardy (Swofford) on December the 24th, 2021. She loved and deeply cherished her extended family and friends. Mandy brought so much love, care, and laughter into the lives of everyone who were blessed to have her in their lives. She truly brightened the room when she entered. She was born in Waycross Ga. on Jan 5th, 1979 and grew up in Douglas County. She graduated from Lithia Springs High School in 1997 and worked many years as office support staff for different waste industry companies. However her most fulfilling job came when she accepted a HR position at A.L.P. Lighting Components in Lithia Springs, Ga. Mandy loved interacting with her co-workers on a personal level and with this personable skill set, she was soon promoted to HR Manager of the company's Lithia Springs location. A position she felt was her life long career calling. She loved her job and co-workers immensely. Mandy and Jeff were married in April of 2004 and attend Crossroads Church Carrollton. It was there she and Jeff accepted God's salvation in their lives. Their love of God and the love the members of the church have shown them strengthen our families today. She is preceded in death by her mother Cynthia Dubose and father Wayne Wiggins. She is survived by her husband Jeff, her Dad Harris Swofford, her grandfather Papa (M.T.)& Miss Phyllis Wiggins, her brothers Joshua Wiggins, Jared Wiggins, step children Jeffery, Justin, Melissa, as well as her much beloved YaYa grandchildren Gracie, Landon, Brayden, Natalie, Jayleigh, and Lucas. Mandy loved helping at Crossroads Food Pantry, so in lieu of flowers, we ask that you make a donation in her name to the Atlanta Community Food Bank (https://www.acfb.org/), who partners with Crossroads in their community care. We encourage sharing a picture or 2 that we could include in her remembrance service. Per her wishes she was cremated. A remembrance service will be held at Crossroads Carrollton, 1621 Bankhead Hwy, Carrollton Ga. on January 15 beginning at 2PM. Visitation at 12:30PM before the service.
