Anthony Joseph Scarfato, Iv

Anthony Joseph Scarfato IV (Joey), 27, of Decatur, GA passed away on May 8th, 2024. He was born July 12, 1996 in Orlando, FL and was the son of Anthony Scarfato and Jennifer Ables.

Joey was creative, caring, compassionate and a light to everyone around him. He loved his community, good food, heavy metal music and participated in social activism. Joey recently graduated from Interactive College of Technology HVAC program with a 4.0. In 2017, Joey walked The entire Appalachian Trail, 2200 miles from Georgia to Maine.

Surviving family members: his mother Jennifer Ables, father AJ Scarfato, husband Nikki Ruth Jackson, sister Kaley Brook Scarfato, Grandparents Linda and Anthony (Tony) Scarfato and Grandfather Michael Ables, Uncle Jeremy Ables, Great Uncle Thomas Scarfato, Great Aunt Mia Scarfato, Great Uncle Clifford and Great Aunt Elaine Ables, Great Aunt Carol Baker, first cousin once removed Bruce Baker, Mother-in law Amy Jackson, Father-in-law John Jackson, sister-in-law Sarah Jackson, dog "Chicken".

There was an informal service May 16th, 2024 at Woodlands Garden in Decatur, GA.
