Billy Joe Williams

Billy Joe Williams, 89, of Acworth, GA passed away on June 8, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Fort Payne, AL on Friday, July 10, 1931 to the late Joe Henry and Sally Mosley Williams. Billy was an avid fisherman and even made his own fishing lures. He loved babies, never met a stranger and touched more lives than he ever realized. Billy was preceded in death by his son, Roger Williams and grandsons, Jerome and Jason Williams. He is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Emma Jean Williams; son, Bradley Williams; son, Wayne Williams; daughter, Rhonda Kay (Jim) McCartney; son, Robin (Donna) Williams; brothers, Doc, PG, and John Williams; sister, Jennilou Williams; 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Mr. Billy Joe Williams will be held on Friday, June 11, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Leaf Cremation in Acworth with burial to immediately follow in Rolling Hills Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Kyle Williams, Drew Williams, Jordan McCartney, Christopher McCartney, David Fox and David Lee.
