Bobbie Lee Bacon

Mr. Bobbie Lee “Grumpy Butt” Bacon, age 82, of Yorkville, Georgia gained his angel wings on November 18, 2020. Bobbie was born on May 23, 1938 in Bishop, VA. Bobbie served in the Army from 1956-1963. He was a retired flooring installer and a member of Pine Ridge Baptist Church, Dallas, GA. He was a diehard Indianapolis Colts fan. He was a loving husband, dad, grandfather, and brother. He was greatly loved and will be missed by many. He was preceded in death by his son Michael Curtis Lee Bacon, parents Mitchell and Elizabeth Bacon, brothers Harry Nolan Bacon, William Harrison Bacon, Jackie Menjo Bacon, Tommie Martin Bacon, sisters Helen Louise Bacon Young, Virginia Ann Bacon, Thelma Frances Bacon Fazio, Garnett Delores Bacon Stevens. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Barbara Etta Bacon, Yorkville, GA; children, Angela Darlene Bacon LoPresti, Barbara Jean Bacon Hyden, Terry Wayne Bacon, Susan Lee Bacon-Austin, Bobbie Lynn Bacon McCall, Gregory Michael Bacon; daughter-in-law’s Candy Bacon, Lynn Bacon; son-in-law’s, Charles McCall, Vincent LoPresti, and Russ Hyden. Grandchildren, Austin “Hoss”and Angel McCall, Nicholas “Rocky” Ryan McCall, Christian “Bug” McCall, Briley “Broccoli” Bacon, Michael Bacon, Brianna Bacon, Brittany “Grandma” Bacon, Hanna Michelle Dodd Miller (Craig), Catherine Susanne Dodd, Joanna Marie LoPresti Keel (Larry) Mary Angela LoPresti: Matthew Daniel Mosher (Katie), Michael Logan Mosher (Brittany): Jarrod Wayne Bacon (Brittany), Jordan Alan Bacon (Abby) Peyton Franklin, Pagett Franklin, and Porter Franklin. Great grandchildren Charles Jaxon McCall, Elizabeth Grace Miller, Michael “Miles” Craig Miller, Reese Marie Keel, Nora Ann Keel, Kinsley Mosher, Owen Mosher, Wyatt Mosher, Lily Mosher, and Ty Hisley Bacon; sister, Charlotte Mae Bacon Kuter, honorary grandchildren Ryan and Heidi Linde, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
