Bobby Joe Blalock

Bobby Joe Blalock, 56, of Rome, GA passed away on July 31, 2023 at his home. He was later taken to Floyd Hospital where he was pronounced deceased and went to heaven.

He was born August 22, 1966 in Marietta, GA at Kennestone Hospital. He had one daughter named Sharon Annette Blalock who was born December 26, 1991, age 31.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Joe Ray Blalock & Evelyn Blanche Crumbley.

Bobby graduated from Wills High School in 1985.

He will be missed greatly and was loved by many. He was a good man who always knew how to make others smile and laugh. He would want everyone to celebrate his life, not mourn his life.

Bobby left behind his daughter, Sharon Annette Blalock; grandson, John Christopher Hawthorne,III; son-in-law, John Christopher Hawthorne Jr.;  granddaughter, Kennedy Annette Hawthorne; brother, Billy Ray Blalock; sister-in-law, Debbie Blalock; nephews, Shaun Blalock and Justin Blalock; fiancé, Loise Ardina Jarrett; aunt, Elsie L. Crumbley; Patrick Whitmarsh, like a brother to Bobby; Bobbie Whitmarsh, like a sister to Bobby. He also had his dogs Ella, TJ, Bella, Pu, MJ, Vicki, Lucky, Cotten, Gizmo, Artie, Harley and Oreo.
