Bradley Lamar Forrester, age 81, of Dahlonega, Georgia passed away Tuesday, October 3, at his residence following a period of declining health. Mr. Forrester was born December 1, 1941, in Hall County to the late Coley Sellers Forrester and Iona Horton Forrester. He was a professional master coppersmith and a sheet metal specialist and was of the Baptist faith. He lived in Lumpkin County for the past 18 years having moved from Gainesville, GA.
Mr. Forrester was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Ruby Nell Savage; his brothers, Dr. Charles Forrester, Wayne Forrester, and Larry Forrester. He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Diane and Jim Latimer of Gainesville; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Forrester had a love for the outdoors where he enjoyed camping, fishing, and spending time with his friends. He also liked playing the guitar and studying music. He loved his friends without end and was always excited to be with them. His lifelong passion was his love of dogs, particularly his dog, Bo. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice or TLC Humane Society, 1735 Red Oak Flats Rd., Dahlonega, GA 30533. The celebration of life is scheduled for October 28, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Bethel United Methodist Church, 100 Lumpkin Campground Rd. S, Dawsonville, GA 30534. Leaf Cremation of Acworth oversees arrangements.
