Brian Scott Ellis

September 14, 1976 — September 20, 2022

Brian “Scott” Ellis, 46, of Acworth, Georgia passed away on September 20th, 2022.

He was born September 14th, 1976, in Marietta, Georgia and was preceded in death by his parents Mike and Unive Ellis.

Scott attended Cass High School and finished his education at North Metro Technical College. He loved to sing, and he was incredible at it; his voice always being the focus of the room when he sang. Scotty always knew the words to just about any song or movie and never shied away from singing along or even twisting the words up a little bit for a laugh. He knew the names of just about every actor and what they acted in; his mind was like an encyclopedia of his favorite people. Scott also loved to play games with his friends and family, ranging from some tabletop games to video games. Of course, Scotty also had a dark sense of humor and a quick sarcastic wit that will surely remain unparalleled. He was never the person you wanted to leave out of something, rather you’d always wanted him to be included kind of like a superstar.

Scott was and will always be remembered as a wonderful man, a paragon of kindness, and a devoted family member. He was a beloved brother and a best friend to his siblings and a truly fantastic son to his parents, as well as an affectionate and fun uncle to his nephews. He was a loyal and close friend to his ex-wife and his stepdaughter who both adored him dearly. Most importantly, he was a loving father with a strong and unbreakable bond with his son. To his friends, including his late best friend Mitchell, he was a trustworthy man that you were truly proud to call your friend. His personality was so large and reaching that he has friends across the United States and even some in other parts of the world that wish they could be here for him. Scott’s spirit was wild and free, doing things his own way but still putting his family first.

Scott is survived by his son Shaun, his ex-wife Andrea, his stepdaughter Sierra, his siblings Robin and Michael, his nephews Matthew and Andrew, his great-nieces Rose, Rain, and Ava, his great-nephew River, and numerous others who all miss him dearly. All of them truly and dearly loved Scott and are thankful that he can get a goodbye from those who cherished him closely.

A private viewing for family will be held at 1pm on 9/23/2022.
