Charles Gilbert Whitmire, Ii

Charles Whitmire (Charlie) of Acworth, GA passed away on Monday April 10, 2023, in hospice care. Charlie is preceded in death by his, father Charles Whitmire, mother MaryAnn Whitmire of Acworth, GA, sister’s Judy Irvine, Donna Whitmire and Teresa Whitmire.

He is survived by his son Dakota Whitmire, Trevor Hagaman, Tyler Pierce, Dee N. Tyler, Shelly Fuller, sister Vera Whitmire, brother Joe Whitmire (Gloria), brother Bobby Whitmire, brother Eddie Rickman (Denise) and many cousins, aunts and uncles and many friends.

Charlie was born October 15, 1971, in Marietta GA. but lived most of his life in Acworth GA. Charlie was a fighter all his life with his kidney issues and then he found out he had cancer last year. Charlie had an abundance of friends and was always willing to help them in any way he could. He had a great spirit and loved the outdoors, hunting and riding motorcycles. Charlie had a heart as big as he was and loved without measure. See you on the otherside.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to his son Dakota who will need help with utilities until he can find employment. Please give to either Joe or Vera for distribution.

The service will be held on Saturday April 15th at 1:00 at Greers Chapel Church located at 1848 Greers Chapel Rd. NW Kennesaw GA 30144.
