Graduated West Rome High School 1981 and joined the United States Army.
Honorably discharged at end of service and returned home to join the family business.
Earning double degree in Marketing and Management while managing Long furniture Company, Charles showed a unique gift for working with numbers and analysis. Later excelled during his 20 year love for Real Estate working for Hardy Realty and Crye-Leike and earning several Top Honors for sales.
Charles was a member of Trinity Methodist Church and of the Rome Exchange Club where he was elected president for 2019, enjoying his work with the Rome Fair Grounds.
