Christopher Clyde George

Christopher Clyde George, 63, was born in California to Charles Leon George and (Gwendolyn Joyce Thomas), passed away in Macon, GA, Aug., 20 2024. He leaves behind daughter Lena Francis (Shawn Dewitt) grandson Kye Dewitt, granddaughter Haley; Brother Timothy George, (Brandy) nephews Clayton, Austin, Cody, Jack, niece Brook; aunt Rosalyn Coldiron (Rita Smith), and step sister Kathy Mifflin-Bordahl.

Chris is preceeded in death by his mother, Gwen George Mifflin; Lena’s mother, Deborah Jean Sorofman; grandmother Judy P. Coldiron; and step dad, Eugene Mifflin.

In the words of his brother, Tim; “Chris was someone who lived life with passion and purpose, always striving to make the world a better place. He touched so many lives, and I know his spirit will continue to inspire us all. Though he is no longer with us in body, I believe he will always be with us in spirit, watching over us, guiding us, and reminding us to live each day with the same love and enthusiasm that he did.”

“Chris had a way of making everyone feel seen and valued. His generosity of spirit, his kindness, and his infectious laughter were gifts he gave freely. He had a remarkable ability to lift up those around him, to make even the darkest days seem a little brighter. To say that I will miss him doesn’t begin to describe the depth of loss I feel.”
