Preston Charles (Chuck) Osley, Jr., 76, of Rome, GA, passed away early Sunday morning, July 24, 2022, following a long illness. He was born on November 26, 1945, in Atlanta, GA, and was the son of the late Preston Charles Osley Sr. and Marlee Barnes Osley. Chuck graduated from Armuchee high school in 1966. He was an avid fisherman and a master carpenter. He was employed by the Rome Housing Authority and retired after many years. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Preston Charles Osley Sr. and Marlee Barnes Osley, two sisters, Valerie Osley and Yvonne O’Brien, and grandson Nicholas Osley. He is survived by two sons, Preston C. Osley, III and Travis Osley of Rome, and two grandchildren, Seth and Chase Osley of Rome. Sisters, Dolores Stocks and Linda Terry of Rome. Also, many beloved other nieces, nephews, and friends. Chuck will be greatly missed; as of now, services will be held at a later date.
