Clayton Faine Stanley

In loving memory of Mr. Clayton Faine Stanley Clayton was born on April 30th,1940, in Gordon County and died at the age of 81. He passed away peacefully at his home on August 8th, 2021. His health had been declining for quite some time. He was the son of Tom and Senie Stanley & the brother of Ralph, John, Jay, Calvin, Inez, Gladys, Ruby, & Mae Stanley. In 1960, he met the love of his life, Geraldine Cooper. They were married on June 3rd, 1960 & remained married 61 years until his passing. He was the father of two daughters, Angie Stanley (Johns) & Dottie Stanley (Ledford). He was also the grandfather of 4 grandchildren, Cody & Brandon Johns & Taletha & Blake Quiroz. He also had 9 great-grandchildren. He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. Clayton's last wishes were to be cremated, so there will be no funeral or memorial held. He always believed the life he lived was his memorial. He was loved very much & will truly be missed.
