Clovis Alton Franks

Clovis Alton Franks, 86 of Dallas, GA passed away on October 20, 2021.  He was born in Franklin, NC on Jan 16, 1935 to Claude and Wilhelmina Franks. He was preceded in death by one brother, Claude Franks Jr.  Surviving family members include his wife, Angel Franks, two brothers, Lowell Franks and Glenn Franks, one sister, Brenda Vandiver, one son, Todd Franks, one daughter, Miriam Copeland, 4 step children, 14 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.  Clovis was raised in Cleveland, GA but later moved to Atlanta where he became a successful business owner in the construction industry and ran it all out of his front shirt pocket. He was a patient, funny and loving husband with plenty of jokes and sayings to keep everyone guessing. He had a love for classic cars, coins, antiques and guns.
