“As is a tale, so is life: Not how long it is, but how good it is, is what matters. “ ~Seneca Curtis Allen James, 51, of Norcross, GA was found deceased on May 18, 2022. Curtis lived his life to the fullest. He will be truly missed by his family, his LBs, his KAΨ Fraternity, his friends, and most especially, his wife. His life was a blessing, his memory a treasure. He is loved beyond words and missed beyond measure. Curtis is survived by his wife of 1 year, Dolores Manuela Rodriguez Moreta James of Dominican Republic; his daughter, Jasmin Madelina Thorsted-Moreland, 24 of Oregon; his daughter Neil Dae Delisser, 18 of Florida; his sister and brother-in-law, Jennifer, and Orlando Ceville, Jr of Oklahoma, and their children, Gabriel Ceville and his wife, Akira and step-son Jayden of North Carolina, and Solana Ceville of California; and his half-sister and brother in law, Patricia and Dallas Blocker of Florida, and their children, Melvin Smith and his wife, Danielle and their children, Madisyn and Camryn Smith of Washington, and Maceo Smith and his children, Brittany and Brandon of Tennessee. Fraternally, Curtis will be remembered by his line brothers, TeLemont Silver, Thomas Slade, Jeffrey Currence, Mike Burney, Ron Stallings, John Tobias, Michael Juan Williams, and Tyrone McDonald, of ΖΔ Chapter of Charlotte and his closest fraternity brothers, Ronnie Russell, and Ricky Taylor, and his brothers of ΚΑΨ, Fraternity, Inc. around the United States. Lovingly, Curtis will always be remembered by his other close friend Tyrone Hardy of North Carolina, a host of cousins, and other family members in Florida, high school and college classmates, and friends in North Carolina and Georgia. Predeceasing Curtis are both of his parents; Yong Cha and Maceo James of North Carolina, his Uncles, Leon and Louis James, and his Aunts Nellie and Margie James, his grandfather, Allen James, and grandmother, Ella James, and his Great-Aunt Beulah James of Florida. No funeral services are planned. Memorial Services and ΚΑΨ, Fraternity, Inc. ΩΩ Rites of Passage into Chapter Invisible will be held during the Zeta Delta Reunion in Charlotte, NC on July 30, 2022.
