David William Demecs, Jr.

David W. Demecs Jr, 54, of Rockmart, GA. He entered God's kingdom on Thursday, December 26th, 2024, after recently suffering from a massive stroke that he never recovered from. David was born in Toledo, Ohio, to his parents David Demecs Sr. and Vicki Miller August 11th, 1970. He graduated from Start High School. David worked at Toledo Blank until he moved to southern Missouri in 1993. His journey brought him to St. Louis, and eventually, after a few moves in between, he ended up in Rockmart, GA. During his time in Georgia, he had his son, Lil David. David began coaching his son in baseball as soon as he was old enough to play. This, along with woodworking, was his passion, which showed in his work. He was a talented Cabinet Maker by trade. The work he did just left you in awe. David is survived by his son David J. Demecs; several stepchildren, whom he considered his own; several grandchildren, mom Vicki Miller, dad David Demecs, stepmom Sherri Demecs, sister Shasta Demecs, stepbrother Bill (Heather) Gibson, stepsister Alison (JR) Rosenogle, his nephew Tristin Demecs-Lay, and many uncles, aunt Nonie Foy, and many many cousins. The family will have a Celebration of Life in Toledo, OH, at a later date, TBD.
