Debbie Louise Wigley, affectionately known as Debbie to her friends and family, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2024, at her residence in Cartersville, GA 30121. Born on August 2, 1958, in Marietta, GA, Debbie's life was a tapestry of love, dedication, and service, woven through the years she spent nurturing her family and enriching the lives of those around her.
Debbie was predeceased by her beloved husband, Phillip Lawrence Wigley; her father, Woodrow Cecil Tucker; her mother, Mary Elizabeth McGuffey Tucker; and her cherished son, Phillip Grady Wigley. Her memory will be treasured and kept alive by her loving family, including her son Woodrow Shane Wigley and his wife Jean Fergusson, her grandchildren Heather Elizabeth Wigley and Nicholas Shane Wigley, and her great-grandmother Lois Bernon Ferguson. Debbie's legacy also continues through her son Steve Boggs, his wife Matilda Boggs, and their son Sebastian Boggs.
Her sisters, Mary Elizabeth Tucker Ross and husband Fred Ross, along with their sons Randall Carnes and Jesse Carnes of Cartersville, GA, and Renee Houston of Acworth, GA, will fondly remember Debbie's warmth and kindness. Her nieces Renette Houston Carnes and Tammy Houston Hutchins, both of Calhoun, GA, and Shelby Thomas of White, GA, join the family in mourning the loss of a remarkable woman. Debbie's extended family, including several more nieces and nephews, will miss her dearly.
Debbie's life was further enriched by the love of her family members Joseph Grady Wigley, his wife Abby King, and their son Caysen Eugene King; Nathaniel Wigley, Dakota Wigley, and Isaiah Wigley; her daughter Kasandra Louise Wigley and her husband Alan Pacheco; and her granddaughter Shannan Louise Pointer, her husband Douglas Pointer, and their children Cameron Brewington, Kendall Pointer, DJ Pointer, and Caden Prewitt. Christian Pacheco, Doug Trinity Pacheco, Kaitlin Ledbetter, and Johnathan Sexton also share in the family's loss.
A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered. Debbie Louise Wigley will be deeply missed, but the legacy of her love will remain as a beacon of light for her family and all who were blessed to know her.
