On Saturday, March 16, 2019, Don Louis Kaser I, loving husband and father of five children, passed away at the age of 83. Don was born on November 5, 1935 in Columbus, OH to Louis and Marie (Stanley) Kaser. He graduated from South High School in Columbus. He started working in Civil Engineering at Burgess & Niple in Columbus and ended his career with McKim and & Creed in Clearwater, FL 52 years later. On June 19, 1955 he married Mabel Jo Ann Armentrout. They raised 2 daughters, Dana (Joe) Nicolini and Erin Kaser, and 3 sons, Todd (Kellie) Kaser, Craig Kaser, and Don (Denice) Kaser II. Don played Fast Pitch Softball, and Basketball in Columbus, and worked the Ohio State Football games for several years. He was known for his honesty and his kind and compassionate spirit. He never met a stranger. Don was preceded in death by his father, Louis, and his mother, Marie, and his sister, Barbara. He is survived by his wife, Jo Ann, his five children, Dana, Erin, Todd, Craig and Don, his brother Berne, and his sister Tammie, eleven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his adopted son Patrick Helm. A celebration of Don's Life will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at Chestnut Ridge Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), 2663 Johnson Ferry Rd., Marietta, GA 30062 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Don's memory may be sent to the church.
