Eileen Cervantes

Eileen (Sharako) Cervantes, 74, of Douglasville, Georgia went to be with her heavenly Father on Sunday, November 29, 2020. She was born July 30, 1946 in Pontiac, Michigan and was the daughter of Walter and Katie Sharako, who preceded her in death. She worked as a bookkeeper for the Buckner Finance Group for 50 years. When she wasn’t working, she loved exploring the North Georgia mountains and fishing, especially trout. She received multiple Angler awards for several trout that she caught.  She was a loving sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend. She is survived by her siblings: Fred (Kodetta) Sharako of Hubbard Lake, MI and Julia (Alvin) York of Traverse City, MI; Husband and lifelong best friend, Chris Mikulin of Douglasville, GA. Daughters: Rene’ Spiess of Carrollton, GA and Suzanne Holcombe of Douglasville, GA.Grandchildren: Jessica Holcombe, BJ (Alix) Spiess, Katie Holcombe and Bailey Spiess. Great-grandchildren: Presleigh and Dansby, as well as many nieces and nephews. She especially loved her cats: Lucas, Peanut, Thumbley, Little Man, Joey and Patches. There are no arrangements for a service.
