Emma Jean Williams

Emma Jean Williams, 88, of Acworth, GA went to be with her heavenly father on Saturday, July 29, 2023.

She was born Thursday, July 25, 1935 to the late James C. and Nola B. Stoker. She is preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Billy J. Williams; son, Roger Williams; granddaughter, Shannon Williams and grandsons Jason and Jerome Williams.

She leaves behind her sister, Bonnie Setser; sons, Brad Williams, Wayne Williams (Sabrina) and Robin Williams(Donna); daughter, Rhonda Kay McCartney(Jim); seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ms. Jean loved the Lord and worshipped at Acworth The Church of God. She loved to sing so she led the choir. She loved her family with Thanksgiving and Christmas being the favorite times and she would want her family to all be together. If Ms. Jean knew your birthday she would be sure to call you to make sure you remembered it even if she had to leave a message and sing Happy Birthday to you.

She spent her last days in the care of Enhabit Hospice Care which helped make her journey more peaceful and calm. Our hearts go out to them.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 3, 2023 from 1 PM to 2 PM at Leaf Cremation, 4325 Hwy 92, Acworth GA 30102, with the funeral service to immediately follow at 2 PM.  Interment will take place at Rolling Hills Memory Gardens in Acworth, GA.
