Esther Moon, known to many as Kyong Cha, peacefully passed away on May 23, 2024, in Atlanta, GA, at the age of 81. She was born on June 20, 1942, in Kunsan, Korea, to Chun U Chi and Sang Kuk Chi.
Esther will be fondly remembered for her quiet strength, gentle spirit, and fervent love for the Lord Jesus Christ. She was a member of Korean-American Community Presbyterian Church of Atlanta, and was under the care of Pastor Sun Ki Jeong.
Esther was the owner of Tri-Service Cleaners in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, for many years. A talented designer/tailor, artist, and gardener, Esther found joy in her hobbies and shared her creativity with those around her.
She is survived by her four daughters Sun Barrs, Chiloni Huffman, Susan Mun, and Elissa Moon, as well as her siblings Kay Anton, Kyong Sun Fisher, Hye Ryun Chi, and Tae Sun Chi. Esther was preceded in death by her parents.
A private memorial service was held for the family on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at 3pm EST, at Leaf Cremation in Atlanta, GA. Esther's life and legacy will forever be cherished by those who knew and loved her.
