Gilbert Brown

Gilbert Brown, age 84, of Powder Springs, GA departed from this life and went to be with the Lord on November 15, 2020. He was born in Cherokee County, GA. He was retired from Allied Workers. He loved Nascar racing. Gilbert will be greatly missed by his wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great grandchild. He is survived by his his wife, Eula Mae, of 63 years; daughters, Brenda Lawing, Wanda Brown, Wendy Cook, Donna (Jerry) Gossett; son, Mike Brown; 9 grandchildren, Matt Lawing, Chad Lawing, Cristal Rickles, Kristi Hayles, Jared Gossett, Brandon Painter, Blane Painter, Blake Painter and Keirstyn Brown; 10 great grandchildren, Jacob Hope, Zachary Lawing, Savanna Lawing, Mason Lawing, William Rickles & Victoria Rickles, Lily Hayles, Cami Painter, Brantley Painter and Penelope Painter. He is also survived by one great, great grandchild Everett Hope. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on November 21, 2020 at Union Grove Baptist Church at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be given to someone you know who may need help during the holiday season or to Christian City Children’s Home, 7300 Lester Road, Union City, GA 30291.
