Gladys Cordelia Barrett

In loving memory of a very wonderful and beautiful mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was born on May 22,1944 in Harlan Kentucky to Leonard & Martha Robbins. She loved her family and would go to the ends of the earth to support them in anyway she could despite not agreeing with every choice they made. She was married to John Barrett on August 31,1971 until he transitioned on October 16, 2004. She loved that man until her last breath! She leaves behind to cherish her memories her 3 children Tammy, Joseph and Johnnie Barrett. Her 7 grandchildren Felisha & Demetrick Cusick, Joseph (Brooke), Caleb, Brian, Jonathan & Jordan Barrett. Her 17 great grandchildren Da’Ryan, Jayli, Carmon, Kimimela, Camden, Keagan, Kohen, Kessler, Mia, Klassic, Zina, Gabriella, Kaston, Silas, Kynleigh, Paisley & Bransen. Who she loved dearly. Mom I will always love & miss you. I promise to do the best I can to make you proud & to hold our family together. Your memory will never die. Your love will continue on through us all! A memorial service will be held Sunday, September 4, 2022 from 2 PM until 5 PM at Noccalula Falls in Gadsden, Alabama.
