Guy Guindle Eller

Guy Guindle Eller, 74, of Acworth passed away January 19, 2020 surrounded by his family and friends. Guindle was born in Hiwassee Dam, North Carolina to the late Mr. & Mrs. Guy Eller. Mr. Eller was an avid fisherman and gardener and retired from General Motors. Known by all as Papaw or Guindle, he was best known for his quick wit, his infectious smile, his kind and compassionate spirit and how he loved his family with all his heart. Guindle was preceded in death by his parents, Guy & Ethel Eller, sister, Dorothy (Jesse) Hamby; brothers, Boyd (Betty) Eller, Willie (Georgia Mae) Eller and Goldman (Helen) Eller. He is survived by his loving wife, Jeannie Eller; sons, Joe Eller and Marc (Becky) Thomas; grandchildren, Tyler Thomas, Jacob Thomas and Mackensie Thomas; sisters, Mae (Willard) Allen, Lorraine (Richard) Kilpatrick, Shelby (David) Avery, Shirley (Owen) Hensley and Susie (Rob) Ledford and numerous nieces & nephews. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, January 25, 2020 from 1 PM to 3 PM. 4325 Highway 92, Acworth, GA 30102.
