Howard Lee Searcy

Howard L Searcy, 85, of Canton GA, passed away on July 20, 2019, at his home with his wife Joanne Searcy and his family, Howard, Jr. Lynn Gold, Cristal Woodworth, Martin Searcy and stepchildren Karen Portaleo and Kelli Luaces, all by his side. Howard was a graduate of the University of Florida with a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering. He was involved in the restoration of the Everglades and many other projects in South Florida. As head of his own company, he was part of the building and construction of large developments and malls in Palm Beach County and other parts of Florida and North Carolina. He will be sadly missed by his family and the many people who had the pleasure of being under his guidance and working with him. He was a true gentleman, admired and looked up to by all.
