Irene A. Fox, age 82, passed away November 5 after a long battle from complications of diabetes. Irene was the first of five children born to Lorraine Mostyn Fox and Robert D. Fox on December 27, 1941 in Joliet, Illinois. Born with beautiful auburn hair, Irene was given the nickname Penny which is how she was known to family and friends her entire life.

Shortly after her wedding to John, the couple relocated to Georgia along with her extended family. In 1967, Penny welcomed into her family a daughter, Mary Margaret Hadvizjak.
