Irene Theresa Tummons

Irene Theresa Tummons, 60, Cartersville, GA met her Heavenly Father on October 26th, 2022.

She was born on April 13th, 1962 in Saranac Lake, New York and is the daughter of the late Henry and Theresa (LaBrake) Tummons.

Irene served her country in the US Air Force. She traveled the world. She rode across the country with her “superstar” Harold, 3 times. She accomplished anything she put her mind to. She lived for an adventure. She enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her family and friends, especially her boys.

If you had to pick one word to describe Irene, it would have to be resilient! Nothing ever stood in her way, and she lived life on her accord to the fullest. She was glorious. She will be greatly missed by all.

Irene is survived by her beloved Harold Hitt, Cartersville, GA, her siblings; was survived by Don (Carol) Tummons, McCormick,SC, is survived by Patti (David) Mitchell, Naples, Fl, Bruce (Pam) Tummons, Naples, Fl, Sandra (John) Gagnon, Saranac Lake, Ny, Her Sons Gordon (Lynne) Dowis, Cartersville, GA, Geoffrey Dowis, Dallas, GA, 2 grandsons, many of nieces and nephews, and lots of friends.
