Local Cartersville resident Jacob Edward Brown, age 37, passed away on June 25, 2022. Jacob was born February 6, 1985 to Walter C. Brown, III and Lisa I. Merideth. He was a big hearted person who would do anything to help anyone out. He had a great sense of humor and was loved by his family and friends. He was medically retired from the US Army where he served in Ramadi, Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Jacob is survived by his father, Walter C. Brown III and step mother Brenda of Adairsville, GA; mother, Lisa I. Merideth and step father Clint Jordan of Chandler, IN; brothers, Cody Merideth of Indianapolis, IN, Caleb Brown and wife Robyn of Dallas, GA, Stephen Brown and wife Jill of Powder Springs, GA and Walter (Scooter) Brown IV and wife Melynda of Dallas, GA; sister, Paula Adams and husband Mike of Adairsville, GA; grandfather, Edward Frank Everett of Powder Springs, GA and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life service is being held at Browns Chapel Baptist Church in Marietta, GA on Friday, July 1st from 3-6pm. Friends and family are welcome to drop by during those hours.
