James "Jimmy" Keith Shearer

James “Jimmy” Keith Shearer , age 57, of Winston, passed away due to an extended illness on ‘Wednesday, January 31,2024. He was born on March 24,1966 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Dillon Ohrian Shearer and the late Martha Faye Smith Shearer.

Jimmy was a free spirit who never met a stranger. He spent the last few years on the road for several trucking companies. He had to stop trucking due to health issues.

One of Jimmy’s interests included bowling in several leagues through the year. He was also a loyal fan of the Atlanta Braves, Georgia BullDawgs and the Atlanta Falcons.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, David Shearer.

He is survived by his loving wife, Susan Vaughn Shearer, of 31years; daughters, Jessica Shearer of Kennesaw, Kristen Shearer of Winston; sons, Dillon Shearer of Carrollton, and Justin Shearer of Winston; grandson, Dawson Shearer; brother, Charles (Charlie) Shearer of Sunny Side and numerous family and friends.

Jimmy was cremated. There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
