James Patrick Allison, loving husband, father, and brother, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2024. He is preceded in death by his son, Adam, as well as his sisters, Kathy Spriggs and Nancy Hannah.
Jim is survived by his wife, Cathy; children, Trent and Amanda; brother, Ricky; sisters, Patty Lee, Mary McCalla, and Betsy Eloquin; Aunt, Jan; step-children Joshua Reardon, Megan Johnson, Chelsea Gravois; grandchildren, Reese and Rhett Johnson, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Jim excelled at outside sales throughout his 37-year career at Apex Supply. He had a passion for serving his customers and won many sales awards over the years. He formed deep friendships with co-workers, suppliers, and clients due to his caring nature and great humor.
In 2016, Jim took to retirement like a duck to water. He kept busy, living his best life every single day. He adored his family, cherished his friends, and was happiest at home sitting in a sunny courtyard or on his back patio overlooking the neighboring horses.
As we say goodbye to Jim, we celebrate the life he led and the love he shared with so many. His memory will be a comfort in the days to come, reminding us of the joy and laughter he brought into our lives.
We will celebrate Jim’s life and mourn his loss at Woodstock City Church, 150 Ridgewalk Parkway, Woodstock, GA 30189 on Thursday, March 14 at 11:00 AM. The family will receive guests starting at 10:00 AM. Because of his nurturing nature, donations in his memory may be made to Forever Fed, Must Ministries, or Goshen Valley Boys Ranch in lieu of flowers.
