Janet Leigh Arnold, 53 of Adairsville, GA passed into Eternal Life on Monday, March 2, 2020, peacefully in the comfort of her home, with her family by her side. Janet was born in Rome, GA on December 17, 1966, to Gerald Lee Hillhouse and Linda Faye Greene. Janet was an adventurous and creative spirit. Prior to the onset of her illness, she greatly enjoyed the outdoors. Her days were spent fishing, camping, hiking, four wheeling, and exploring caves and water holes. She loved swimming, making bonfires, and exploring old ruins. Janet became homebound in her mid thirty’s. She didn’t allow her dramatic change in circumstances to dampen her spirits. She filled her days creating countless treasures by sewing and making jewelry. When she wasn’t actively creating, she enjoyed in-depth biblical studies. Above all, Janet most enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She married her beloved on September 6, 1986, and proudly built a life with him. She raised her children by involving them in every area of her life. She filled their childhood with adventure by building and hosting incredible haunted houses and forts together, leading them on countless outdoor adventures, and creating a variety of memories. She invested in the last decade of her life by pouring into her grandchildren daily. She celebrated their accomplishments, taught them, and passionately poured her love and wisdom into them. She loved fiercely and was happiest when surrounded by her family. Janet is preceded in death by her beloved mother-in-law Mary Madeline Arnold and father-in-law CJ Arnold. She is also preceded in death by her grandchild Dakota Avery Shields and her niece Taylor Victoria Gallegos. Janet is survived by her beloved husband Timothy Mark Arnold, son and daughters, Brooklyn and Curtis Shields, Jeramy and Tiffany Arnold, and Stormy and Codi Owens, grandchildren; Julian, Nathaniel, and Anna-Belle Shields, and Loki Klocker and Raiden Arnold, father Gerald Lee Hillhouse, mother Linda Faye Hillhouse, father-in-law Johnny Greene, brother and sisters; Victoria and Manuel Gallegos (Coty and Skyler Gallegos), Tamela and David Hillhouse (Allen, Joshua, and Autumn), Jerry and Angie Hillhouse (Christian, Jerry Jr, Samuel, and Cheyanne), and Judy and Jack Harrelson (Jackie, Jannie, and Jada), as well as several aunts, uncle, cousins, and great-nieces and nephews. The pair experienced most of their lives together and shared an unbreakable bond. Evelyn Peterson (Angel) was Janet’s best friend of six years.
