Janice E. Lang passed peacefully from this life on April 21, 2024 at the age of 81.
She was born on September 2, 1942 to James and Alma (Louise) Roach at White Cross Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 20 years, Ernest J. Lang and her 2 wonderful and spoiled fur-babies, Molly and Murphy. Janice is survived by her sister Myrna (Bob) Butler, daughters Kimberly (Ray) Jerome and Shelly (Dennis) Kreager, 4 step-sons, Ernie (Sue) Lang, Bruce (Linda) Lang, Mike (Connie) Lang and Mark (Ann) Lang, grandchildren, Wade (Ashley), Danielle, Lindsey, Kendra, Renee, David, Emma, Anna, James, Josh, Amanda, Brianna, Emily, Harrison, and Alex, several cousins, nieces and nephews, and countless friends.
Janice spent much of her youth working and playing at Buckeye Lake, Ohio. She had a very successful accounting career and enjoyed a wonderful retired life. She was able to travel to faraway places and especially loved taking to the high seas on many cruises. She had a zest for life and always had a smile on her face, she created many smiles on others also. She was known for her loving, kind, caring and comical personality. She will be greatly missed.
The family is being served by Leaf Cremation in Acworth, Georgia. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to any type of cancer research fund in loving memory of Janice. This disease has taken too many of our loved ones.
There will be a Celebration of Life, held in Janice’s honor, on June 8, 2024, 2:00 – 4:00, Canterfield of Kennesaw, 4381 Bells Ferry Road, Building 1000, Theater Room, Kennesaw GA 30144.
