Jeffery Ronald Walker, 57, of Hiram, Georgia abruptly passed away on February 14, 2024.
Jeff was born November 22, 1966, in Moline, Illinois, and was the son of the late Ronald and Donna Walker. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Tamela Baldwin. He leaves behind his family members which include his son Noah Jeffery Walker, a nephew, several cousins, and his cat Binky.
Jeff ran his own pool construction company and lawn care service. He always had a talent for outdoor jobs. Even in the years leading up to his passing, he continued to work outside. He was always adamant about never working for a big corporation or any business that wasn’t his own.
His hobbies included being a huge fan of NASCAR and football. His favored teams over the years were the Patriots and Buccaneers. While his favorite player was Tom Brady. Jeff had a great passion for gambling as well. One of the most memorable things about Jeff is he loved ketchup on literally everything from pizza to eggs. His all-time favorite restaurant was Chili’s.
He will be missed by family and friends alike. Especially by his son. They did a lot, but there are also many things they will never get to do together. Noah will be forever grateful for the good memories his father left him. From the summers they spent in the pool or taking care of fish at the apartment with Granny to the bright days spent at Jeff’s old home in English Oaks. Despite any setbacks he tried to be there for his son throughout his life.
Thank you for everything, dad. You’ll always be Mr. Magoo Man. That was your running joke ever since I was a kid. I pray that you are no longer suffering and have found peace with your mother in a better place than this earth. I appreciate the memories we got to live through and the stories you’d share of your life. The one about Big Gino from the pizza shop will always stick with me. You had a love for horror movies that I will carry on. Even though I don’t drink I’m sorry we never made it to the point where we’d drink and watch sports together. We were even going to try that new sports bar the week you passed. We’ll have to do it another time it would seem. I’m really going to miss you. Hopefully I’ll get the chance to see you again someday and finally be able to do all the stuff we never could.
