Jimmy Durand Jordan, Sr., age 66 of Silver Creek, GA passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 23, 2020, at his residence with his family at his side. Mr. Jordan was born in Detroit, Michigan on July 11, 1953, son of the late Dewey and Margie Jordan. Mr. Jordan was a Vietnam Veteran in the US Army. He was a member of the VFW. He was the 2nd Generation Business Owner of Jordan's Vinyl Siding. Mr. Jordan was a family man and loved everyone. He never met a stranger. He was honest, hardworking, and loved making people laugh. He loved to fish, hunt, and go camping. He loved singing and playing his guitar. Survivors include his loving wife of 51 years, Helen Jordan, daughter Angela Dellinger (Robert), Rockmart; granddaughter Taylor Durocher (Mason), Rockmart; great grandchildren, Maddox Durocher, Delia Durocher, granddaughter Makallie Dellinger (Richard) Aragon son Jimmy Jordan, Jr. Silver Creek; granddaughter Leslie Sullins (Kenny) Lindale; great grandson Cason Sullins, son Eric Jordan (Nicole) Rome; grandson Hunter Jordan; 5 brothers and 2 sisters. To honor Mr. Jordan's wishes, he will be cremated and a memorial service for family and friends will be held at a later date. The family would like to th,ank everyone that helped Jimmy in his final days including Transitions Hospice of Rome. In lieu of flowers, Jimmy would want donations to be made to the Open Door Home of Rome, or their favorite charity.
