Jimmy Lane Morris

Jimmy Lane Morris, born on May 31, 1957, in Atlanta, Georgia, passed away on February 3, 2025, in Hiram, Georgia. He was the beloved son of Jack Morris and Janie Ruth (Sibley) Morris and cherished husband to Cindy, brother to Lamar (Delaine) and Lee Morris.

Jimmy was a devoted family man who loved nothing more than spending time with his loved ones and his beloved sidekicks, Bowie and Max. He took great joy in hunting and scrapping, pursuits that brought him happiness and fulfillment. A fan of laughter, he enjoyed watching his favorite TV show, Mr. Bean.

He is survived by his children Jamie (Darrel) Curry, Lori (Jeff) Thomas, Bekah Robertson, and Abby Bentley, as well as his cherished grandchildren Bryson and Wesson Curry, Jacob (Mindy) Thomas, Lindsey (Andrew) Roberts, Austin (Blair) Rakestraw, and Harley Robertson. Jimmy was also proud to be a great-grandfather to Jaxson and Mason Thomas, and Maverick and Aiden Roberts. He will be missed by his many nieces and nephews who adored him.

Jimmy's favorite ice cream flavor was Butter Pecan, a sweet reflection of his kind and loving spirit. He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
