John Allan Ericson

John Allan Ericson, 55, passed away early morning on April 23, 2021. He was born in Garden Grove, California. He was the son of Carole D. Ericson and John L. Ericson. John was a master electrician for more than 35 years. He was the owner of Voltmax, Inc and was scouted by the Texas Rangers baseball team for pitching during his high school years. John was an animal lover. John is survived by his loving wife, Susie Ericson of Acworth; mother, Carole D. Ericson of Blairsville; father, John L. Ericson of Buchanan; children, Ashley Lester, Jessica Ericson, both of Southern California, Ryan Ericson of San Diego, CA; step-children, Brooke Rossignolo of Acworth, Alison Burns of Kennesaw, Jayson Mickelson of Cartersville and six grandchildren, Maddison & Matthew Young, Ellis, Charlie, Joey and Jakey Burns. A celebration of John’s life will be held on May 15, 2021 at 6 PM at the home of Alison Burns. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Saint Jude Children’s Hospital in John’s name. This was one of his and the family’s favorite charities. The world is a lot darker without him in it.
