Jolynn Scarlett Light of White Hall, Arkansas passed away on December 4, 2020. Jolynn was born on July 15, 1946, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents Carter Joseph and Geraldine Ruth Scarlett, her husband C. She was a great woman of God and a wonderful pastor‘s wife. Throughout her later years, she never stopped serving God and others. She graduated from Faith Bible Institute with a 4.0 in Biblical Studies, taught school for many years, was a writer and an artist. She volunteered as an ombudsman and found great satisfaction in caring for others. She was fun, always laughing, and sometimes getting into mischief. She loved playing games at the table with friends and family. Farkle anyone??  She was immediately loved by everyone that met her. She was a bright light. She was happiest when she was able to share her love of Jesus to everyone she encountered. Jolynn was an amazing friend and she will be missed by everyone that knew and loved her. Jolynn is survived by her children Scarlet (Light) Stone (Dwayne), David Light (Lisa), Joanna (Light) Meyers (Matt); her 12 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held in July 2021 in Whitehall Arkansas at Bethany Baptist Church. Details to be published at a later time.
