Jori was born and raised in Rome, Georgia in the Lindale community. She had a wonderful extended family and a genuine and special love for each and every relative, whether by blood or marriage. She met the love of her life, Bill Bryan, one fine summer day on Broad Street in Rome. It was true love at first sight and Jori and Bill were inseparable best friends for almost eleven wonderful years. Jori's two daughters, Keri and Jordan, were her pride and joy along with her sons-in-law Victor and Nick. Anyone who knew Jori will agree that within a few minutes of first meeting her, there would be mention of Jordan & Keri and “their boys” along with a full description of her beautiful daughters. After grandchildren Matthew and Maddison came along, they were always included in the conversation complete with pictures. Jori's beautiful mother, Martha, was a special lady and like her daughter, a person who's friendship could always be counted on. She was forever in Jori's heart and Jori loved her dearly. Miss Martha taught Jori how to be a kind and gentle southern lady. Many who knew both Martha and Jori would use the description “like two peas in a pod”. Jori's two beloved uncles and aunts were her mentors and role models of loving, Christian parents. She often spoke of Uncle Jerry, Aunt Glenda, Uncle Buck, Aunt Claudette. Jori was blessed with several brothers and sisters, cousins, grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, and others, all of whom she loved in her special way. After marrying Bill, Jori took on his daughters and sons in-law, Jessica & Scott and Kayse & Dave, as her own. She considered Bill's grandchildren, River, Raine, Cade, Meadow to be her own. Jori's sweet & gentle spirit earned her a great many loving and caring friends all over the country. She always put everyone else before herself and wanted all to be happy. Right up to her last day on Earth she was thanking and encouraging the amazing medical team; and always with her million dollar smile. Jori loved God first and foremost and spoke with Him daily. She was fearless of Earthly death and absolutely certain of what was next. Heaven has gained a sweet beautiful tough little nut who will live forever in our hearts. All are welcome to attend a celebration of life service in the chapel of Canton First Methodist Church on July 9th at 10:00 AM. There will be a reception afterward at Bill & Jori's home.
