A Memorial Mass for Joseph Ralph LaFlamme, 79, will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 17, 2021, at St. Michael the Archangel, Woodstock, Ga. Joseph was born on August 6, 1942, in Ontario, Canada, to Leo Joseph and Alice Mary LaFlamme and died in Woodstock, Georgia, on Tuesday, August 31, 2021. He married Diane Theresa Cloar on August 5, 2000. Joseph earned an M.A. in Pastoral Counseling from Franciscan University of Steubenville. He worked with troubled youth, served in Kairos prison ministry at Angola State Penitentiary in Louisiana, and ministered as a missionary in Mexico. Joseph was a member of St. Michaels the Archangel Catholic Church, where he served as a eucharist minister and a Knight of Columbus at St Catherine of Siena. He founded Zechariah Ministries, an outreach ministry, in 2002 and worked for Conestoga Builders Inc. Joseph proudly became a citizen of the United States in December of 2007. Joseph was preceded in death by both parents and a sister-in-law and is survived by wife Diane, of the home, Three daughters Angela Bruner and husband Mark, sons Matthew and Brent of Hennessey, Oklahoma; Leslie Buckner and husband Sean, son Jacob of Dallas, Georgia; Deborah Johnston and son David of Woodstock Georgia and son Isaac of St. Louis, Missouri. One brother Conrad Laflamme of Ingleside, Canada, niece and nephews, Yvette, Paul, Kevin, and Greg. Joseph was a wonderful husband and father to his family. He will be greatly missed, but we know he is with the Lord by the life he lived. Joseph's quiet, loving spirit changed the lives of everyone he met in so many wonderful ways. His memory and spirit will be with us forever.
