Julia Annette Brown

Julia Annette Brown, previously of Clarksburg, WV, passed away peacefully at home in Grantville, GA on August 30th 2023.

Julie was born on December 11th, 1963 in Portsmouth, OH and was the daughter of the late Morton Ray Brown and Madalyn June Brown of Wheelersburg, OH. She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Mortie and Thelma (Hickman) Brown and maternal grandparents Charles and Alma (Shaffer) Munn.

Julie was also preceded in death by her sister, Peggy Sue Price, and her partner, William Martin.

Julie is survived by her brothers, Steve Brown and Charles Brown, both residing in Ohio, and her sisters, Debbie Wolfe of Ohio and Alma Smith of Georgia, as well as many nieces and nephews. Julie leaves behind her beloved cat, Squeaker, who will now reside with her sister, Alma, in Georgia.

Julie loved her family dearly and wished only to be near them at the end of her life. She expressed her gratitude to those who visited, contacted, and expressed their well wishes and concern.

There are no plans for a funeral service at this time. The family will discuss a memorial reunion for the coming year and details will be released to the family as they are finalized.
