Kathleen Ann Frost

December 2, 1947 — March 24, 2025

Kathleen Ann Frost, a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished friend, passed away on March 24, 2025, at the age of 77. Born on December 2, 1947, in Massachusetts, Kathleen grew up in New Hampshire. She called many places home, including Louisiana, Tennessee, Hong Kong, Texas, and Florida, but the majority of her life has been here in Georgia.

Kathleen’s passion for life was evident in all she did. A diehard University of Georgia fan, she proudly cheered on the Bulldogs in every season. Her love for reading and writing shaped much of her career and personal life. For over 30 years, she worked as a freelance and technical writer, crafting everything from feature articles to training materials. She also found joy in writing narrative short stories.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Kathleen was an artist at heart. She poured love and creativity into making quilts, which she shared with family, friends, and hospice patients, brightening their lives with her warmth and care. Her hands, always busy with a project, reflected her deep compassion and generosity.

Kathleen will be deeply missed by her children, Rebecca Wasson, Luciann Draper, and Phillip Wasson II, as well as her children’s half-siblings, Phylicia Wasson and Whitney Wasson, and their father, Phillip Wasson. She is also survived by her son-in-law Christopher Draper, daughter-in-law Stephanie Tupper-Wasson, grandchildren Jessica Bragg, Cheyenne Feltman, William Draper, Samantha Draper, Bryan Tupper, and Athena Wasson, and grandson-in-law J.T. Bragg. She also leaves behind her great-grandchildren Christian Johnson and Leia Tipton. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Shirley Frost.

Kathleen’s legacy of kindness, creativity, and love for her family will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. Her memory will forever be cherished by all who were fortunate enough to have crossed her path. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Wounded Warriors Project to support their efforts for veterans.
