Kitty Fowler Jordan

Kitty F. Jordan, 83 years old, of Emerson died on January 15, 2024. She was born on March 26, 1940, to Leonard Fowler and Lurene Bennett Fowler. Married to Henry L. Jordan on March 17, 1956, and was the mother of three children. She was employed by the City of Emerson for several years and later for the United States Postal Service as a postal clerk. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church and a member of the choir.

Those preceding her in death were her parents, husband, daughter, Sherron J. O’Conor and an infant grandson, Justin Levi Jordan. Survivors are two sons, Scott Jordan (LaDonna) of Cartersville and Steve Jordan of Emerson; son-in-law, Ellsworth O’Conor of Acworth; four grandsons, Nicholas O’Conor of Dallas, Bo Jordan (Katie) of Emerson, Dusty Jordan of Emerson and Jacob Jordan of Cartersville; one granddaughter, Brandi O. Elliott (Michael) of Winter Garden; great grandchildren, Ellie and Emmalynn Elliott, Greyson O’Conor, Cash and Caroline Jordan and Sadie Jordan; two sisters, Yvonne Leander (Robert) of Acworth and Judy Fowler of Acworth; one niece, Jennifer D. Holiday of Acworth and one nephew, Wesley Davies (Renee) of San Diego; sister-in-law and caregiver, Bonnie Nell Jordan.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Bethany Baptist Church, 42 Old Alabama Road SE, Emerson GA 30137. A family graveside service will be held. Leaf Cremation Services are handling the arrangements.
